We li...We have been going through a similar thing. We lived near Seattle, and then my husband got a job in upstate NY. We had only had our WA house for 2 years and prices had dropped A LOT -so we decided to rent out our house instead of trying to sell it. Then we tried to find a rental house in NY - absurdly hard to do.
